I have no idea what happened. I went away for two weeks and now my Win 10 desktop won't open network places previously saved, network drive maps already created and I can't see more than a few machines on the whole network neywork the file explorer. Greetings, tree of this morning all Windows 10 PC's can't access mapped drives on W2k8 r2 server in a workgroup environment.

We just upgraded our machine to windows 10 and I have a few users that could not access a driver letter that was mapped via group policy. In Windows explorer you can not disconnect the drive because it is still trying to make the connect.

Here is the solution that worked for me. If cannkt are not in a domain I assume deleting the manual mapped drive using the dos prompt drivve then remapping it would do the same. This topic has been locked by an administrator and is no longer open for commenting.
